Journalism Student

Had my first ever university lecture today and as a Law/Journalism student I can now safely say I am glad it was journalism that came first! After the physical and emotional roller coaster that was O week at college it was nice to have some normality and actual uni work in my life. Enrolling in the journalism course, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect of it, sure I knew there would be much mention of 'news' as such but I never thought I would connect with a subject quite as much as I feel I do and I am excited to start not only this blog to document the many happenings in my life but to learn all about journalism and communications. In the lecture a quote from young journalist, Sophie McNeill was mentioned - I've been having a look at her profile and documentaries and I have to say for a girl who had no idea where she was headed a week ago there is some exciting opportunities out there!
